Icelanders want to win a free trip to the Canary Islands: Challenging Casting Auditions
One of these people could be going to the Canary Islands!

I’m sure no one has missed the fun young Canarians that are in Iceland promoting the Canary Islands to the Icelandic People. About 100 Icelanders will to go on a dream trip to the islands and some have already gone to through the casting auditions. The lucky ones will spend an unforgettable week in the Canary Islands which includes water Sports, volcanoes, wellness and holydays with the family.

Which Icelanders will be picked to go on the trip?

Gudlaugur Bergmann took part in the auditions: "It was pretty challenging. 20 Icelanders met up to talk with an equal number of Canarians. The interviews lasted one minute then we changed seats, like on a kind of Speed-date. Among the questions we were asked what we knew about the Canary Islands, my hobbies and why I would like to go on the trip. This was extremely fun but it was sweating a lot at the end, I hope I get to go on the trip" says Gudlaugur and smiles.

Those who do not win a free trip can still take advantage of an offer that will be introduced to the whole of Iceland in the near future.

The Canarias say: "Soon we will make the whole of Iceland an offer you can’t refuse”.

No to the Winter Blues"

  6. ...Thanks Gulli,

Your words are more worthy than you could imagine right now !!! We need the Iceland People opinions, to show that we have done a nice work making this beautiful promotion of the Canary Islands in Iceland with "NO WINTER BLUES". Hope we have leaved a nice feelling from the Canarians Ambassadors.

Best regards and Keep the feelling,

  7. Hey hey Andrés

I'd be more than happy to share how wonderful you guys and gals were!!! I had no idea about what you were doing and I was driving past loads of people wearing orange coats...I ofcourse stopped my car rolled down the window and asked what was going on! Immediatly you people smiled and told me why you were here, what you were doing and that I should come and passed me a flyer! You were all so inviting, enthusiastic about the project and committed to your country and about having fun doing all of these things :D I'll go on record anywhere and vouch for that!!!
